The crowds salute those who predict a kingdom come,
but in the end they always end the same
They live the fairytale that words will light the way for godlike kings who make us live again
Our dreams are sold, they say they pave our streets with gold
Armed to the teeth, they say they practice what they preach

They speak brave words about the need to built one´s faith and how to live until its judgements day
They feed our brains with shady signs that can´t be seen but will come true after you pass away
All that they do, is tell you how to live in fear
All blind and deaf, you can´t feel truth if you don´t hear

A broken promise surely failed cause no one tried, a fall from grace when all hope has died

These mighty men who play our minds with common sense, they seldom die while waiting next in line
